At the center of the front design is a woman wearing a kufiya, looking directly at us. Beneath her portrait, the word FREE appears in large letters, followed by PALESTINE HABIBI. The hoodie connects Palestinian identity with a clear call for freedom and self-determination.
The Story Behind the Design
The kufiya is far more than a scarf. It is part of Palestinian everyday culture and, over generations, has become a symbol of connection to the land, resistance and the determination to preserve one’s identity. The woman at the center carries this history visibly and meets our gaze with confidence.
Free Palestine calls for an end to occupation, displacement and oppression. It expresses the demand for a future in which Palestinians can live freely, safely and with self-determination, making their own decisions about their land and their lives. Habibi means “my beloved” in Arabic and gives the political statement a personal dimension: Palestine is not only a demand, but also home, memory and a deep bond.
This hoodie carries that message into public view—at demonstrations and in everyday life.
