This Is Not a Watermelon Tee features a simple but meaningful design. A watermelon in the shape of Palestine is placed on the chest, with the small phrase “this is not a watermelon” underneath.
The design refers to a period when displaying the Palestinian flag was restricted. During that time, people turned to alternative symbols to express identity. The watermelon became one of them, because it carries the same colors and is deeply connected to the region itself.
